Impact Makers is participating in the ConnectSouthside workshop “Social Enterprise & the Sectors: What We’re Learning from Entrepreneurs” on September 13, 2012.
Greg Werkheiser, Executive Director of the Center for Social Entrepreneurship at George Mason University and founder of the Phoenix Project will speak at the event about trends in social entrepreneurship, its impact on business and the community, and strategies for Southside to get involved.
Greg will moderate the panel of local entrepreneurs sharing their experiences and success factors. Impact Makers’ Vice President Business Strategy Rodney Willett will be a panelist. Rodney will discuss Impact Makers’ competitive social venture business model, B Corporations, and local community impact.
