Impact Makers Supports Team Carrie at the Anthem Richmond Marathon

On Saturday, November 14, 2015, Impact Makers’ employees participated in the Anthem Richmond Marathon in support of Team Carrie, in memory of former co-worker, Carrie Wortham.

About 50 friends and family members honored Carrie’s memory by running the race. Carrie died September 6 when struck by an automobile while cycling in Hanover County. She was training for the Richmond Marathon.

The runners from Impact Makers were Jennifer Stern in the marathon and Amanda Slemaker, Randi Farrar, Kristi Decker, and Rodney Willett in the 8k.

Impact Makers’ Lead Consultant Martin Erb’s daughter, Esther Atkins, was on course as well and placed 2nd for women 25-29 in the 8k and 7th for women overall.
