As founder of Impact Makers, Michael has developed a new business model that takes social entrepreneurship to a new level. Impact Makers is a for-profit company that has gifted its ownership to the community and contributes 100% of its net profits to charities over the life of the company.

Michael spent the early years of his career as a Senior Consultant with Andersen Consulting (now Accenture) based in Sophia Antipolis, France. His tenure allowed him to consult, with increasingly complex engagements, throughout the EMEAI (Europe, Middle East, Africa, and India) region.

Carl Miller

Carl MillerPresident

As President of Impact Makers, Carl uses his considerable program/project management and operational experience to continue to build our delivery capabilities and help grow our business. Carl leads our day to day delivery of consulting services and business operations.

Carl gained a wealth of consulting experience in the Federal and State markets early in his career.  This was followed by five years with Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Florida where Carl led the design and development of their physician/provider database as well as authoring BCBSF’s Information Engineering development methodology.

Kaki Cachine

Kaki CachineChief Financial Officer

Kaki has over 25 years of experience in leadership, finance, accounting and operations. She has been a strategic leader in healthcare from start-ups to Fortune 500 companies for the past 15 years. Her experience includes healthcare, technology, insurance and professional services. She has extensive expertise in forecasting, financial analysis, and strategy including mergers and acquisitions. Prior to joining Impact Makers Kaki was CFO at a care management services company in Richmond.

Kaki has degrees from Virginia Tech and VCU.

Scott Mayo

Scott MayoSenior Vice President, Client Solutions

Scott is a management professional with more than 20 years of experience in leadership, technology, marketing and sales. He has a proven track record of growing businesses, including their services, locations and revenue. His industry experience includes information technology, healthcare and financial. He has expertise in business transformation, strategic planning, reorganizations and performance management. Scott’s previous leadership roles were as President of Strategic Solutions of VA, a Virginia-based IT managed services provider, SVP with Carlisle & Gallagher Consulting Group, a Financial Services management consulting firm, and SVP with Keane, Inc., a $1B global outsourcing firm.

Rodney Willett

Rodney WillettSenior Vice President, Business Strategy

Rodney joined Impact Makers in 2011 as Vice President of Business Strategy. He is a member of the company’s executive team, leads its business development efforts for government, and oversees marketing and public relations. Rodney has more than 25 years of experience working with government and commercial entities and helping to meet their management and technology needs. Prior to joining Impact Makers, Rodney served as public sector lead for Virginia for North Highland, a global management consulting company. Prior to joining North Highland, Rodney directed Virginia’s state government Internet portal (www.virginia.gov) and served as president of Virginia Interactive, LLC, the Virginia subsidiary of the e-government company NIC. The Center for Digital Government recognized the Virginia portal and its e-government services as the best state Internet portal in the nation because of its innovations in delivering citizen and business services online.

Cathie Brown

Cathie Brown, VPVice President, Governance, Risk & Compliance (GRC)

Cathie joined Impact Makers as a Principal Consultant in 2012. She has more than 25 years of experience including work within State Government as Deputy Chief Information Security Officer of the Commonwealth of Virginia and experience within a Regional Healthcare System where she held various positions in IT. Most recently, she has focused on management consulting engagements bringing value to clients in state government and healthcare entities. She was also the previous Board Chair of the Lynchburg Technology Council.

Jeff Meck

Jeff is a Senior Business Strategist and leads the Impact Makers Management and IT Consulting Practice. Jeff has over twenty years of consulting experience and proven success in executive leadership, business development, client relations, Internet strategy/design/development, process engineering and management. He has significant experience designing and implementing enterprise solutions and leading large enterprise engagements, including Enterprise Portal and Content Management, ERP and custom developed solutions. Jeff has implemented solutions within the following industries; Power Generation, Manufacturing, Media, Retail, Financial Services, Non-profit and Commercial IT Services.

Lewis Broome is a Principal Consultant with responsibility leading the Data Services practice. His successful track record is marked by strong leadership coupled with a passion for driving data and technology solutions from a clear business-value proposition.

Ed is the Program & Project Management Practice Lead. For more than 20 years, Ed has led companies, federal and military facilities, and organizations to change through IT and Business Process Re-engineering. He excels in leading teams in environments that require operational excellence and continuous improvement while balancing risk taking with clear performance goals.

Ed holds certifications in ITIL Foundation Certification, Lean Six Sigma, Program Management Office Management (PMOM), Group Facilitator – Master, and Project Manager – Master, PMI PMP.

Brendon Cornwell

Brendon CornwellExperience Design and Digital Practice Lead

Brendon is the leader of Impact Makers’ Experience Design and Digital Practice, where we work to create better human experiences for the connected consumer. With a primary focus in healthcare, we are bridging the gap between business, technology and clinical outcomes.

He is an experienced consultant and expert in delivering solutions through customer experience, digital strategy, interaction design and technical implementation across a broad scope of industries, ranging from Fortune 500 companies to universities to government organizations.

Ross Decker

Client Solutions Lead

Ross rejoined the company in 2012 as Client Solutions Lead with responsibility for expanding Impact Makers’ commercial and healthcare practices. Ross brings Impact Makers over a decade of experience in strategy and product management.

Prior to rejoining Impact Makers, Ross was the Vice President of Product Management for Molina Healthcare’s Medicaid fiscal agent business (acquired from Unisys).

His areas of expertise include IT strategy, Enterprise Architecture (technology, infrastructure, business process, and strategy), complex program and project management, IT and business process outsourcing, business process management, process re-engineering, service delivery and service management, ITIL-compliant process assessment and re-engineering, executive management and consulting, and contract negotiation.

Andy Savage

Andy SavagePrincipal Consultant

Andy joined the company as a Principal Consultant in 2012. He is a Certified Master Scrum Lean/Agile Coach and an entrepreneur with vast experience in creating profitable businesses through the organic application of technology to meet customer needs. Andy combines his vast experience, new technologies and project management methodologies stemming from Lean practices first invented by Toyota to meet his customer needs.
