Impact Makers receives national coverage in Campus Technology magazine. In “A New Form of Business for a New, Socially Conscious World,” recently retired CIO Diane Holmes Barbour reflects on her 40+ year career in IT and ongoing desire for more balance in her life. She worked long hours yet yearned to be more involved in social causes and her community. After retirement, she read about Impact Makers and was so intrigued that she contacted the principals and volunteered on the Board of Directors. The author speaks directly from the heart about the conflict between career and community involvement that was a impetus for Impact Makers’ foundation.
