About the Presenter, Daniel Vacanti
Daniel Vacanti is a 16 year software industry veteran. He worked with David Anderson on the world’s first implementations of Kanban and was a contributor to and a primary reviewer of David’s Kanban book. Daniel specializes in the leading, mentoring, and coaching of teams in lean and agile practices. His emphasis is on the business-appropriate use of technology and process to help companies achieve their specific economic goals. Daniel’s current interest is focused on how variability affects knowledge work and how the proper application of risk management can make organizations more predictable.
Kanban, like Agile, is a Lean project delivery management process. David Anderson and Daniel Vacanti developed and tuned Kanban project practices with over a decade of projects at top technology companies, including Microsoft.
