Impact Makers Hosts Students from UVA Studying Social Enterprise

On March 22, 2012, Impact Makers hosted students from the University of Virginia studying social enterprise and how their community may be able to address social issues. They traveled to Impact Makers’ office in Richmond, Virginia to meet with Michael Pirron and Rodney Willett. The students learned about Impact Makers’ unique business model,  B Corps and benefit corporation legislation.

The course is called UVA Field Work in Social Enterprise and is in its first year. The Impact Makers’ team looks forward to future opportunities to meet with the students and share more about our company.
