Impact Makers is a management and technology consulting firm that is committed to contributing 100% of net profits over the life of the company. Our current community partners are Rx Partnership, Family Lifeline, and Peter Paul Development Center. We also contribute pro bono services to IT4Causes, Midwives for Haiti, The Podium Foundation, Computers4Kids, and Homestretch. Since 2006, Impact Makers has contributed nearly $3 million in direct, unrestricted financial support and pro bono consulting to our partners and other charities. Our financial and professional support contributes significantly to the ability of these organizations to empower and support tens of thousands of citizens in our community.
Rx Partnership provides access to free prescription medications for qualifying uninsured patients of Virginia’s free clinics, and serves as a resource to support organizations.
Family Lifeline helps families succeed and assists Central Virginia’s most vulnerable children, parents and seniors by providing support, wellness and education.
Peter Paul Development Center
Peter Paul Development Center supports the residents of Richmond’s East End with education, senior and after-school programs, a food bank & other community resources.
The Podium Foundation
The Podium Foundation exists to provide youth, ages 10-19, with the skills to become confident and capable writers, communicators, and leaders in school, career, and life.
About Our Community Partnerships
Our community impact is guided by four important principals. They allow the community to support our efforts with the least potential for conflict and with full disclosure of our process.
- We will partner with local, non-profit, community organizations – ensuring our profits will always be used to improve the quality of life in our own backyards.
- Our partners will be secular, apolitical organizations in existence to help people help themselves to improve their lives.
- Our Board of Directors is empowered to make all the decisions regarding the organizations we select to be our partners.
- The Board will hold our executive leadership accountable to maximize our profits while growing our firm and will allow the public to view our records.
Impact Makers wants our community impact to surpass the financial support we provide our partners. We encourage our firm’s employees to support and partner with nonprofits by spending time with them.
We encourage employees to spend part of their time working with our partner organizations while being paid by Impact Makers. In this way, our support and partnership with local nonprofits deepens well beyond the fiscal support our firm supplies and provides the opportunity for our people to make a personal impact on their community.
